|NSERC CREATE Programs in Chemistry & Chemical Biology|
Our department has the unique distinction of being partnered with not one but three CREATE programs. Here's a bit more about these programs (click on their title to link to their websites):
The NSERC CREATE Training Program in Molecular Imaging Probes (cMIP) is a joint program between McMaster University and the University of Alberta. It’s main goals are to: NOTE: This program is no longer accepting applicants - it is finishing March 2016.
CREATE IDEM is a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary training program focused on making cell-based therapies a reality. The program provides an environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork and development of professional skills needed for a successful career.
The CREATE Biointerfaces Training Program (CBTP) allows researchers (at an undergraduate, graduate or postdoctoral level) to study and exploit phenomena at the boundary where materials meet biology. The Program is structured around several Focus Groups, an interdisciplinary mix of experts each bringing their unique skill set to tackle a broad research problem. The state-of-the-art infrastructure and learning environment available within the CBTP provides students with a unique and valuable training experience. (This program is full)
