Dr. Pippa Lock 2014 3M National Teaching Fellow! Print E-mail

It gives me immense pleasure and pride to tell you that Pippa Lock has been invited to join the 2014 cohort of 3M National Teaching Fellows, in recognition of her exceptional contributions to teaching and learning at McMaster. The 3M National Teaching Fellows community was established in 1986 by the Society for Teaching and Learning in HIgher Education and 3M Canada, and is one of the highest achievements possible for Canadian university educators.  Pippa joins a group of 288 3M National Teaching Fellows spread throughout the more than 80 universities in Canada.  It is a high honour indeed, and exceedingly well deserved.

The 2014 3M National Teaching Fellows are being announced today in MacLean's magazine - see http://oncampus.macleans.ca/education/2014/02/13/3m-national-teaching-fellows-announced/for a brief report and here for more extensive statements http://www.stlhe.ca/awards/3m-national-teaching-fellowships/by-year/2014-3m-national-teaching-fellows/.

Congratulations Pippa!!

2014 3m fellowship

Regards,

Willie
